Q-2DMS doesn’t add separation steps — it encodes information directly into the ions themselves, then decodes it back out with signal processing.
STEP 01
Infuse
The whole sample is infused directly into the spectrometer — no upfront separation needed.
STEP 02
Encode
Our 2Drive electronics apply a unique encoding signal to each precursor ion in flight.
STEP 03
Inherit
When precursors fragment, their product ions carry the same encoded signature forward.
STEP 04
Decode (FFT)
A fast Fourier transform reads the MS signal and reconstructs every precursor–fragment pair.
